Aruba CAP Configuration



Today I am going to show you how to configure ARUBA CAP, It's a remote access point which needs to register with the master controller.





















we have to connect the ARUBA to console port with the console cable.

Like this:
The details of the Aruba CAP is as below:
We have to connect the console cable to the com port of the laptop and Ethernet port to the LAN Switch where the LAN segment will be reachable.




and now check the serial port to the device manager, that where the com port assigned.

Now open the putty like this:


Click on open and turn of the Aruba Device and hit Enter as shown in the snapshot, and follow the snapshot for the next configuration:



now hit boot command to start the boot process or wait for the minutes.


You will able to see in the snapshot that the AP has been registered with the master controller, So now you can register your Aruba to your master controller.

HP A5120 Configuration
