PRTG Backup and Restore

Hi All !

Today I am going to demonstrate how to backup PRTG and restore.

Let's starts !

1> we have to stop the service of the PRTG Core Server Service and PRTG Probe Service






2>  go to start run and type %programdata% and copy the Paessler folder to the another location





3> Before reinstalling the PRTG restore the backup copy of the data (Paessler folder)  as the previous location (%programdata%) 

and then install the PRTG, and remove the Network Discovery if not required.

you will find the old data with the new PRTG, it don't matter what the OS you are using.


Now it has been completed your backup and restore the PRTG.
